Ingredients:
-1 cup all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/4 cup butter, softened
-1/2 cup white sugar
-1 egg
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1/2 teaspoon almond extract
-1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
-1 tablespoon honey
-1/2 cup cherry pie filling
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 inch round cake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until well blended.
4. Slowly stir in the dry ingredients, followed by the yogurt and honey. Mix until just incorporated.
5. Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top of the batter.
6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
